As we commemorate the birthday of Namibia's late President, Dr Hage Geingob, we were honoured to welcome Honourable John Mutorwa to the Macmillan Education Namibia offices.
Honourable Mutorwa has dedicated much of his life to public service and to the advancement of education and culture in Namibia. During his distinguished career, he served in a number of ministerial positions, including Minister of Basic Education, Sport and Culture.
His visit was particularly meaningful to us because Macmillan Education Namibia has had the privilege of publishing three of his books over the years:
- Access to Education 1990–2000
- The Establishment of the Nyangana Roman Catholic Mission during the Reign of Hompa Nyangana
- Mutorwa's Speeches
We are proud to have contributed to preserving and sharing these important records of Namibia's educational and cultural history.
